The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.
SASSA might be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed about the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The service position created for intervention encounters a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In sassa status this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to help the servicing of all customers and increase usage click here of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
